Asha came to us as a very young puppy with a broken spine which was surgically repaired. Although she is mobile, she is incontinent. Then a year later, she developed autoimmune hemolytic anemia, which required hospitalization and blood transfusions. So far she is stable, but is taking a number of medications that she will need to be on for the remainder of her life.
